In October 2022 we started a project that has us very excited: “Postcolonial educational perspectives on global racism and resistance — inclusion and empowerment of migrant voices.” which seeks to use the knowledge and expertise of migrant communities in a strongly lifeworld-oriented approach to create new educational methods against discrimination and racism.
Now we are looking to meet again for our second workshop, where we are going to have the opportunity to explore our understandings of the concepts of racism, discrimination and colonialism, and go deep in our experiences in an structural level, also we are going to try linking the role of Germany in the consequences of colonialism here and in our territories, and continue connecting and facilitating networking between migrant communities from Sudan and Chile.
